Pam is a Nurse Practitioner and Research Officer at WoundsWest. She has worked for over 18 years as a specialist in wound care in addition to her previous extensive experience in Orthopaedic, Plastic and Reconstructive surgery.
In her role at WoundsWest, Pam is leading a project for the Wound Management Innovation Cooperative Research Centre, and is currently undertaking her PhD.
Pam is a past executive member and Fellow of the Australian Wound Management Association (AWMA) and is on the editorial board for their national journal Wound Practice and Research.

Terry Swanson was endorsed in 2004 as a Nurse Practitioner in wound management as one of the first in her state and specialty. She has been an active member in the Australian Wound Management Association (AWMA) Victoria and national by holding positions of responsibility and working on subcommittees. Terry was admitted as a Fellow of AWMA in 2010 for her significant contribution to wound management at a state, national and international level. She is the current Nursing Representative for AWMA and Chair of the International Wound Infection Institute.
Terry is an inaugural member of the Australian College of Nurse Practitioner (Vic Branch) and has experience in presenting at local, state, national, and international levels. Terry currently manages an outpatient wound management clinic and provides consultations and education to south west Victoria. She has published many articles and book chapters and her most recent project was co-editing a book that will be published in Australia this year by IP Communications titled: “Wound Management for the Advanced Practitioner”.
Wound Management | Community Nursing
Anne Purcell has been authorised as a Nurse Practitioner for 10 years specialising in wound management at Central Coast Local Health District Community Nursing Service and subacute facilities. Anne is currently a PhD candidate at Griffith University, Gold Coast investigating topical anaesthesia as a primary dressing on chronic leg ulcers.
Fleur Trezise was endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner in wound management in 2013 and has been actively involved in wound management for over 20 years. Fluer currently works as a Nurse Practitioner in a teaching hospital in Sydney providing inpatient and outpatient wound related service. She is a long-term Wounds Australia member, advises to State and National wound bodies, is a conjoint lecturer at the University of NSW (Medical School), presents at local, national and international conference and provides wound related education to medical, nursing and allied health disciplines.
